REMIX WITH BEYONCÉ AND FEAT. ALBUM?

Dle několika zdrojů by "remix" It's a Wrap měla MC nazpívat s Beyoncé, ovšem oficiálně nic potvrzené nebylo. Nick řekl, že MC se s Bee mají moc rády a pořád si volají a píšou. Nick a MC občas vyráží ven na dvojité rande s Jay-Z a Beyoncé. Dále se na internetu objevilo několik "oficiálních" tracklistů "remixového" alba. Zatím oficiálně tracklist oznámen nebyl, tak toto berte s rezervou.

According to some websites, It's a Wrap "remix" should feature Beyoncé. Nick said that "Beyoncé and Mariah love each other" and that they're always calling and texting each other. Nick and MC occasionally go on double-date with Beyoncé and Jay-Z. Furthermore several "official" tracklists of "remix" album were appeared on the net. The tracklist was not officialy released so please, take this with reserve.

H.A.T.E.U. VIDEO SEGMENT WAS SHOT IN ONE DAY

Segment videa H.A.T.E.U. v L.A. se natočil za jeden den. Režisér Brett Ratner dal na net svou fotku s MC a oznámil přes Twitter, že zrovna skončili s natáčením. Brett řekl, že H.A.T.E.U. je jeho oblíbený song z Memoirs.

The segment of H.A.T.E.U. music video in L.A. was shot in one day. The director Brett Rattner posted a picture of him and MC on the net and announced throught his Twitter that they just wrapped on MC's new video. Brett revealed that H.A.T.E.U was his favourite track from Memoirs.

NEW REMIXES OF ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU

Dočkáme se nových verzí vánoční klasiky All I Want For Christmas Is You. David Morales spolu s MC pracují na radio edit verzi a dvou nových club remixech. MC prý nazpívala pár drobných změn. Tyto nové verze by se do rádií měly dostat koncem listopadu a ve stejné době by měly být i vydány (pouze digitálně), zatím se o plánech vydat je na CD neuvažuje.

Mariah Carey’s seasonal classic All I Want For Christmas Is You has been given a 2009 upgrade by both Mariah & David Morales. Together they have produced a new radio edit & two new club remixes. A source tells us that some additional ad-libs will be featured on the club remixes. The tracks are expected to go to radio late November with digital release around that time too. There are no plans for a commercial single at this time.

MC READ BOOKS IN CANFIELD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

MC spolu s hereckými kolegyněmi (z filmu Precious) Gabourey Sidibe a Paulou Patton, navštívily v pondělí ráno základní školu Canfield Avenue Elementary School v Los Angeles a předčítaly dětem z knih. Tato škola je známá díky podpoře rozdílnosti a odráží rasové, etnické a socioekonomické složení Los Angeles.

Mariah and Precious co-stars Gabourey Sidibe and Paula Patton visited the Canfield Avenue Elementary School in Los Angeles on Monday morning to spend some time to read books to the Canfield kids. This school is a neighborhood community school that supports diversity and reflects the racial, ethnic and socioeconomic make-up of Los Angeles.

Singl Obsessed v oficiální české rádiové hitparádě stoupl o pět pozic z #67 na #62. Bohužel album Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel opět z albové prodejní hitparády vypadlo.

Obsessed jumped five positions up from #67 to #62 on the official Czech radio chart. But the Memois of an Imperfect Angel dropped out from the sales album chart again.

Včera se natáčela show Ellen DeGeneres s MC, vysílat se bude dnes. V Oprah se MC objeví asi v pátek. Příští pátek MC vystoupí v Late Show Davida Lettermana, měla by zazpívat. Co se týče Ellen a Oprah, tam je jisté zatím jen interview.

MC was taping for Ellen DeGeneres yesterday, the show will be aired tonight. The appearance in the Oprah will be probably on Friday. MC will performed on Late Show with David Letterman on next Friday, November 13. There is no certainty that MC will perform on Ellen and Oprah.

"I've loved this novel Push by Sapphire for years and just the whole process. It feels like it's a part of me. It really does. I relate to so many of the characters on so many different levels. Everytime I watch it, I still laugh, I still cry. It's one of those things where if someone I know hasn't seen it, I can't wait for them to see it. Not because I want them to see me. I'm almost like, 'Close your eyes, my part is coming up' but because I really feel like it takes us to another level. It really elevates us as a people. I think it's a brilliant piece of work."

"I really had to become this woman and I had to say lose anything and everything that would be connected with me internally, externally, everything. This woman goes to work every day. She deals with stuff every day with people who basically want their check and she's got to be strong, she has to be tough. And it's difficult. By the time she gets to Mary (Mo'Nique's character) that is one serious lady. It was difficult when Gabby, Mo'Nique and I did that scene together, for all of us to keep together, 'cause it's a really emotional scene where a lot of information is revealed - kind of through my character in a lot of ways so we were crying and hugging each other and getting through it in the outtakes but during those scenes I had to be really stoic."

The Vegas dates sold out in hours, and my fans sang along with my old clasics and cheered really loudly for my new tracks. Even though I had never performed the new songs before, I had a great time revealing them to the intimate audience. My single Obsessed had the fans singing word for word – that always feels amazing.

I travel heavy with my team, which on this trip includes DJ Suss One, my stylist, my hair stylist, my make-up artist, my manager, my tour manager, my brand manager, my three personal assistants and my puppies, JJ and Cha Cha.

The singer with the biggest voice of them all on finding love again, ugly-ing up for her art, stepping into Helen Mirren's shoes, and that Diva tag.

It's 8:30pm on a humid autumn evening in New York and the traffic's ground to a halt. The gridlock is worse than usual – apparently President Obama is in town.

So it's ironic, but I think I'm going to be late for my interview with Mariah Carey, a woman who has a reputation for being rather late herself.

Yes, Mariah is known as the Head Girl of prima donnas – and then some. Even now, as I sit impatiently in my yellow cab, Mariah Carey could be making outrageous demands: the cushions should match her nail varnish; the temperature of her iced tea should be monitored. And what's that, glinting on the table? It's a goldfish, wearing a lilac tiara, just like the singer's own.

That's the sort of thing I'm expecting. I'd read the stories, but could they really be true?

'What say you we speed things up?' the can driver suggests, springing into action with a sharp right turn. I lurch across the seat, but it looks like I'm not going to be late after all. I'll arrive with a bruised shoulder – but I'll be on time.

And so is Mariah Carey. That's my first surprise. In fact, she's been at the hotel most of the day giving interviews to promote her sultry new album, Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel.

Video k I Want To Know What Love Is by mělo mít dle manažera MC premiéru brzy, bohužel se výroba klipu protáhla díky technickým problémům. Je to druhá spolupráce MC s režisérem Hype Williamsem (Sweetheart). Koncem týdne by se také měl začít v Los Angeles natáčet klip k H.A.T.E.U. Režisérem bude Brett Rattner, který s MC natočil již 7 klipů (I Still Believe, Heartbreaker, Thank God I Found You, It's Like That, We Belong Together, Touch My Body a Obsessed).

The I Want To Know What Love Is video should have the premiere soon according to MC's manager. Unfortunately the production of the video was stretched because of technical difficulties. This is the second cooperation beetween MC and Hype Williams who worked with her on Sweetheart. The video for H.A.T.E.U. should start filming by the end of the week in Los Angeles. The director is Brett Rattner. He already made 7 videos with MC (I Still Believe, Heartbreaker, Thank God I Found You, It's Like That, We Belong Together, Touch My Body and Obsessed).

CH: Where did the inspiration to name your latest record "Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel" come from?
MC: The inspiration for the name of the album came from a few places. Minnie Riperton, who is one of my favorites had a classic album called Perfect Angel back in the day so I was sort of paying homage but I also wanted women and young girls to know we should all embrace our imperfections because none of us are perfect.

CH: What is your favorite song on the album and why?
MC: I don't have a favorite, I love them all. This is truly a complete body of work. But I do spend a lot of time listening to "The Impossible."

CH: What was some of the hardest obstacles you overcame in your career and what helped you overcome the hurdle?
MC: Some obstacles earlier on, were that a lot of people wouldn't allow me to be me. I had to be strong enough to work through people not understanding who I really was. I eventually just had to break free and not worry about what others wanted me to be. My music helped me through that struggle.
