MC BACK ON TOUR - THE ANGELS ADVOCATE TOUR

Turné MC nazvané Angels Advocate začne 2. ledna v Atlantic City a skončí 27. února v Las Vegas. Po 8 týdnů a v 19 městech MC předvede svou show, kterou představí na Silvestra v Madison Square Garden. Předprodeje vstupenek pro fanoušky začaly dnes na Honey B. Fly, v sobotu 19. prosince pak půjdou do prodeje lístky do všech měst.

The new tour of MC is called Angels Advocate and it starts January 2nd in Atlantic City and ends in February 27th in Las Vegas. 8-week, 19-city tour preceded by New Year's Eve kick-off at Madison Square Garden. Honey B. Fly, the official Mariah Carey Fan Club, has been offering exclusive member pre-sales for all show dates from today. Tickets for the majority of the tour will go on sale December 19th.

TWO MEMOIRS REMIX ALBUMS

Záčátkem roku by měla vyjít dvě remixová alba Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, ne jen jedno. První CD bude obsahovat R&B/Hip-Hop/Pop remixy a to druhé pak taneční remixy od Jump Smokers.

MC will be releasing two separate Remix albums for Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel early next year. In addition to the main Remix album which will comprise of R&B/Hip-Hop/Pop remixes, the other will be a Dance album which will all be Jump Smokers remixes of tracks from Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel.

SONY TO RELEASE THE VERY BEST OF MC

Sony ve své eko-edici "Playlist" vydá CD The Very Best Of Mariah Carey. CD vyjde 26. ledna 2010 v krabičce z recyklovaného papíru. Booklet, fotky a další info budou přímo na CD v PDF. Tracklist níže; mimo remasterovaných největších hitů by zde měly být i oblíbené songy fanoušků a songy které nejsou tak známé, ale přitom něco znamenají.

Sony will release new CD in their eco-edition "Playlist" - The Very Best Of Mariah Carey. The CD will be released in eco-friendly packaging made of recyclable materials on January 26, 2010. MORE AWARDS FOR PRECIOUS & BOX-OFFICE SCORES

Po čtyřech úžasných týdnech se hvězdný vzestup Precious v kinech zpomalil. Film hrající se v 664 kinech spadl po víkendu po Díkuvzdání o 67%, což je největší propad z TOP10. Film za minulý týden vydělal 2.310.000 USD, celkově pak neuvěřitelných (na nezávislý film) 36.280.000 USD.

Washingtonská asociace kritiků (WAFCA) včera oznámila vítěze pro rok 2009. Precious bylo nominováno v sedmi kategoriích (MC ovšem ne) a nakonec získalo dvě ocenění: Best Breakthrough Performance (Gabourey Sidibe) a Best Supporting Actress (Mo'Nique).

The stellar growth of Precious has stalled considerably after four impressive weekends. The film, stagnant on 664 screens, fell 67% from Thanksgiving weekend, a sharper drop than any film in the top 10, including The Twilight Saga: New Moon. The film grossed an estimated $2,310,000, averaging $3,469 and taking its total to $36,280,000. Sharp drops aside, though, that's a substantially impressive cume - the highest for a specialty platform release this year.

The Washington, D.C. Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA) announced their 2009 winners on Monday. Precious won two awards out of the seven (no nomination for MC this time) they were nominated for - Best Breakthrough Performance (Gabourey Sidibe) and Best Supporting Actress (Mo'Nique).

UK TOUR IN SPRING 2010

Na internetu se začíná debatovat o turné Mariah v Evropě. Jedná se o datech pro Anglii v dubnu a květnu 2010 a také o říjnu, bude záležet na tom, jak se domluví data pro další evropské země. Lístky by měly začínat na 1.800 Kč. Oficiální potvrzení a ohlášení turné bychom se měli dozvědět ještě před vánoci.

The debates about MC's European tour were appeared on the net. Dates for Britain are just being tied up with tentative dates booked in for the end of Spring (April/May) and back-up dates in October dependent on scheduling and routing for the tour in the rest of the world. Tickets should start from 60GBP. An official announcement is scheduled soon, with tickets planning to go on sale just before Christmas.

Getting just a moment with Mariah Carey takes exactly as much effort as you would think. It involves standing outside a maze of private partitions during her photo shoot, waiting for the small window of time in which you can say hello. It also involves phone calls from an ever-increasing number of assistants and publicists until you're so confused, you don't know who is connecting you to whom and how. But this is Mariah -- one of the biggest-selling recording artists of all time, a one-namer up there with Elvis and Aretha. So you do it. And at the end of it all, you are glad you did, because when the protective cloud of managers, bodyguards and publicists disappears and you finally do speak to her, she is sometimes naked. Literally.

"I'm in the bathtub, did I tell you that?" She says to me over the phone on a recent Friday afternoon. "It's not a bubble bath but it has one of those buttons so it sends bubbles and makes the water all fuzzy. I have a little bronchitis thing right now." She also had a pain in her side. Doctors had ruled out appendicitis but she was going in for an MRI the next day just to be safe. She attributes this dip in health to all the traveling and handshaking she has been doing to promote her new album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, which came out in October, and now the release of the film, Precious: Based on the Novel 'Push' by Sapphire, in which she has a very noticeable supporting role that proves once and for all that she has the acting talent to go along with the songwriting genius and powerful pipes.

ANGELS CRY TOUR

Silvestrovský koncert v Madison Square Garden je pravděpodobně prvním z turné k novému CD. Turné je nazváno Angels Cry a prozatím se plánují koncerty po USA. Ale MC by ráda na celosvětové turné, o kterém už se jedná, ale žádná data ani koncerty nejsou potvrzeny. Předkapelou bude RydazNrtist, nová R&B skupina patřící pod NCredible Entertainment Nicka Cannona. První koncerty v lednu po už ohlášeném Atlantic City (2.1., Borgata Event Center) se budou konat v Connecticutu - MGM Grand ve Foxwoods (Mashantucket) 15. a 16. ledna. Lístky od 1700 do 2700 Kč se začnou prodávat v pátek 11.12.

New Year's Eve concert in Madison Square Garden is probably the first concert of new tour named Angels Cry. There are planned concerts inside US for now. MC would like to have an international tour, but no dates and concerts were confirmed yet. The opening act has been confirmed as RydazNrtist, a new R&B group signed to Nick Cannon's NCredible Entertainment. The first concerts in January - after the confirmed concert in Atlantic City, NJ (January 2, Borgata Event Center) - will be held at Connecticut - MGM Grand at Foxwoods (Mashantucket) January 15 and 16. The tickects priced from $95 to $150 will go on sale Friday, December 11, 2009 at 10:00am EST.

MC se 10. prosince objeví v show Live with Regis and Kelly, zatím se neví, zda bude i zpívat. V pořadu Lopez Tonight 16. prosince má MC v plánu interview i vystoupení. MC se také zúčastní TeenNick HALO Awards, ktré by měla i spolu-uvádět, pravděpodobně s Nickem. Ceny se budou udílet 9.12. ve Washingtonu DC, vstupenky nejsou k dispozici, akce je pouze pro zvané.
