HAITI SINGLE SALES - 200,000 IN 2 DAYS

Za dva dny se singlu Everybody Hurts prodalo rekordních 200.000. Song se stal nejprodávanějším charitativním singlem posledních deseti let. Má také jedny z největších prodejů v prvním týdnu od roku 2000. Zisky ze singlu se budou dělit mezi Disasters Emergency Committee a Helping Haiti Appeal.

The U.K. benefit single for Haiti organized by Simon Cowell has sold more than 200,000 in two days, according to the Official Charts Company (OCC). The OCC said the track has become the fastest-selling charity single of the last decade. It is also set to have one of the biggest first week sales of any single since 2000. Proceeds from the single will be divided between the Disasters Emergency Committee and the Sun newspaper's Helping Haiti Appeal.

MC spolu s dalšími umělci natočila charitativní song Everybody Hurts. Díky novým technologiím mohli umělci své party nahrávat zvlášť. V sobotu 30.1. se natočily poslední části a singl půjde do prodeje 7. února. Na songu původně nazpíváném REM zpívají (v pořadí jak zpívají): Leona Lewis, Rod Stewart, Mariah Carey, Cheryl Cole, Mika, Michael Bublé, Joe McElderry, Miley Cyrus, James Blunt, Gary Barlow (Take That), Mark Owen (Take That), Jon Bon Jovi, James Morrison, Alexandra Burke, Susan Boyle, Aston Merrygold (JLS), Marvin Humes (JLS), Shane Filan (Westlife), Mark Feehily (Westlife), Kylie Minogue, Robbie Williams.

MC, together with other artists recorded a charity song Everybody Hurts. Thanks to new technologies artists recorded their parts separately. On Saturday, January 30 the last parts of songs were finished and the single will go on sale February 7. MC spolu s dalšími hvězdami přezpívá song Everybody Hurts (R.E.M.), který bude vydán na podporu Haiti. S nápadem přišel Simon Cowell (Pop Idol, X-Factor, objevitel Spice Girls) a podařilo se mu dát dohromady opravdu hvězdnou sestavu: Miley Cyrus, Leona Lewis, Take That, Rod Stewart, Alexandra Burke, Susan Boyle, James Morrison, Mika, James Blunt, Westlife, Cheryl Cole. MC by měla nahrát své party pravděpdobně tento týden a singl by měl vyjít 7. února.

MC agreed to take part in the cover version of REM's ballad Everybody Hurts in a project being masterminded by X Factor chief Simon Cowell. Lots of stars joined this Haiti charity single: Miley Cyrus, Leona Lewis, Take That, Rod Stewart, Alexandra Burke, Susan Boyle, James Morrison, Mika, James Blunt, Westlife, Cheryl Cole. MC by se měla zúčastnit benefičního koncertu na podporu zemětřesením postiženého Haiti mimo jiné spolu s Rihannou, Leonardem DiCaprio, Ashtonem Kutcherem, Usherem, Johnem Legendem, Jamie Foxxem, Wyclefem Jeanem, Kanye Westem, Jay-Z, Kerri Washington a Susan Sarandon. Koncert by se měl konat v první půlce února.

MC should attend a benefit concert supporting Haiti striked by earthquake together with Rihanna, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ashton Kutcher, Usher, John Legend, Mariah Carey, Jamie Foxx, Wyclef Jean, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Kerri Washington, Susan Sarandon and others. The concert should take place the first two weeks of February.
