Nové vánoční promo fotky.

MC se brzy objeví v pořadu American TOP 40 a bude odpovídat na dotazy fanoušků.

Album MCIIU debutovalo v hitparádě Billboard 200 na 4. místě. Za první týden se prodalo 55.490 kusů, což je na vánoční album velice slušné. Očekává se, že prodej se rozjede hlavně v prosinci. MC má tak 16 alb v TOP10 (víc má jen Madonna (19) a Barbra Streissand (30). Album debutovalo v hitparádách R&B Albums a Holiday Albums jako #1. V Billboard's Top Holiday Digital Singles si All I Want For Christmas Is You drží první místo a Oh Santa! druhé.

RK: Well, congratulations to you. You're gonna be a mom.

RK: We actually have that in common. I just became a parent myself so such a rewarding experience.
MC: Oh, congratulations.
RK: Will you find out in advance if it's a girl or a boy?
MC: I don't know. I haven't yet.
RK: You haven't figured that out yet, huh?
MC: No. We don't know yet.
RK: We took our daughter to like a pumpkin patch, a hay ride and all that. Are there things you're already looking forward to doing with your son or daughter?
MC: Of course, I already do that by myself [laughs].

MC v sobotu natáčela v losangeleském divadle Orpheum vánoční speciál pro ABC. Zařadila jak nové songy z letošního vánočního CD, tak z toho prvního. Fan recenze jsou nadšené, MC zpívala živě a zazpívala i song s její maminkou.

We waited till almost 8pm to get in. The stage is beautiful. There's red drapes on the frame of the stage and gold curtains hanging. There's silver christmas trees on the side of the stage and a huge one in the middle. The band is on the left riser of the stage with the horn and strings section at the bottom of the riser with golden music sheet stand cover with MC's initials on it. The lighting effects are superb. The production crew instructs us the safety and legalities and other stuff while waiting for mariah. Michael Jackson's hits are playing while waiting. Some of the fans sing along (well all of us) when I'll Be There played on the speakers. Background vocals were Mary Ann, Sherry, Trey and Melonie Daniels.

1. Santa Claus/Oh Santa - They instructed us to be quiet until Oh Santa intro came. Mariah is glowing. She's upbeat and very festive. The kids and the dancers from the music video were there. She's wearing the red ensemble like the Oh Santa video one with the white collar. After the song she exits and we wait.

2. When Christmas Comes - This one sounds nice live but the horn section was not there. Only her band and back-up. She changed into the Black enseble with sequined stilleto shoes. Her vocals was nice (but the chorus is a little lipped, but the adlibs are not) She messed up on the ending so they have to do it again. She said that that's not what they rehearsed awhile ago so they did it again from the "la da ra da rap pa pap" part. She was instructing the band about that part while singing it live. It's like effortless and i get goosebumps when she just adlibs accapella randomly. Standing O

"My Baby Dreams Came True" - Mariah Carey tells Us about overcoming miscarriage and expecting a little one with hubby Nick Cannon - by Eric Andersson


On a recent morning in the New York City home she shares with Nick Cannon, Mariah Carey tells Us she felt at peace. "Nick was sleeping. I was lying in bed next to him," says Carey, who, on October 28, finally confirmed the news that Us was first to break: She's expecting her first child. "I was like, Oh, this is a real feeling of contentment."

Getting there wasn't easy. After their six-week courtship and April 2008 wedding, Carey, 40, got pregnant. But early in her second trimester, she suffered a miscarriage. The singer cried herself to sleep many nights, but she and Cannon, 30, host of NBC's America's Got Talent, didn't give up. Carey began taking progesterone, a hormone that is often prescribed to boost fertility and support or help maintain pregnancy in women susceptible to miscarriage — and earlier this year, they conceived. With their baby due this spring, Carey, whose album Merry Christmas II You is out now, and Cannon open up to Us' Melanie Bromley.


Congratulations! How do you feel?
MC: I'm very happy. But there's other stuff that comes along with pregnancy, physically: I'm sleepy and in a constant state of nausea! I can kind of control it if I just calm down and don't throw up. It's not great for a singer to throw up! My little trick is Dr. Brown's soda. It's syrupy, so that helps.

Tell Us how you found out you were pregnant.
MC: We were at home in L.A. and I did a pee test, and then I did another and another. At one point I had, like, a collection in my bathroom! Those things aren't always accurate. I'm about taking blood and all that, really. So I was like, Let me just make sure.
